I couldn't get the Banana Fish link to pull up, but I really love Gamer Herald. My banners are pretty simple as I hate working with Photoshop, but I've considered asking my dad to make me a few really nice banners like he's done for me over at blogger.

Do you think that banners are important in regards to visual appeal?

The Bananafish blog has moved to a domain -- can't remember which one just of the top of my head.

A nice banner is very important for reader retention and also (strangely enough) for ad click through.
